Win Tickets for PROE’TORIA FESTIVAL 2019!

This whole article can be described in this one word, PROE’TORIA!

COME AND EXPERIENCE THE BEST FOOD, WINE, AND ENTERTAINMENT AT THE FESTIVAL.

There is no better way to kick off spring than with an outing that the whole family will enjoy.

South Africa’s biggest tasting and entertainment festival, PROE’TORIA, is back and this year it will be even bigger and better than before. Not only can festival goers look forward to the best food, delicacies, arts, beer and wine stalls this year, but also to the biggest names in the music and food industry on one stage.

The Pretoria National Botanical Gardens will be the home to one of the most enjoyable and great outdoor festivals Gauteng has ever experienced on 31 August 2019.

“This year promises to be the best PROE’TORIA ever. As usual, there will be more than a hundred different food and beverage stalls, as well as lots of entertainment for the children and top-class artists on stage,” tells EPH Group’s Leon Pheiffer. “This year, more emphasis will be placed on the ‘tasting’ of PROE’TORIA. The stall owners are going to be so kind as to give festivalgoers the opportunity to taste their food, drinks, and delicacies. A few celebrities in the cooking world, among others, the participants of Kokkedoor season 3 will also be sharing their best cooking secrets on stage. There will also be one large wine garden, where wine lovers can visit together. ”

Wineries and exhibitors from around the country will be part of this event including suppliers such as Dors Water, The Java House, The Pizza Wagon, Foodboyz, Mainstream Brewing Company, Delicious Spookasem and many more.
In addition to eating and drinking, the public can also look forward to being entertained throughout the day by celebrities such as Dewald Wasserfall, Roan Ash, Demi Lee Moore, Corlea, Touch of Class, Joe Foster, Georgetown, Jemma, Deevah and Karlien van Jaarsveld.

You can also find me, the Entertainment Editor, Christo Golden, returning as MC to PROE’TORIA for the second time. I can’t wait to walk into spring with you and celebrate a beautiful day in the gardens! Come say Hi!

“For me, that’s all that we South Africans love in one place. Enjoy your meal, drink and have fun. See you there,” adds Ruhan du Toit of Touch of Class about the fourth annual PROE’TORIA festival.

Festival gates will open at 9 am on the day and entertainment will continue until 7 pm. There are 4 different stages this year, WINE GARDEN, BEER GARDEN, COOKING GARDEN (with Kokkedoor 3 participants) and the MAIN STAGE.
