What To Download Before A Flight

We’ve all been in a situation that might be a bit hard to escape – specifically on a plane, bored out of your mind with nowhere to go but down the emergency shoot. Entertaining yourself on a long haul flight can seem like an impossible task for some people. What if you’re not the person who scores the window seat, or becomes besties with their seat neighbour? Let’s face it; flights can be kind of boring when you’re not sure just how to keep yourself busy on airplane mode. Here are a few things to download before your next flight.

For DSTV Showmax app users:

If you have Showmax at home, download the Showmax app on your device before the flight. Head on to the download button and choose between an SD or HD viewing option. When you’re on the flight you can watch the downloads hassle-free.

Here’s my list:

  • Love Island
  • Revenge
  • iCarly
  • Euphoria
  • The Handmaid’s Tale
  • Sex and The City
  • The Royals
  • Crazy Rich Asians
  • Oceans 8
  • The House
  • No Strings Attached
  • How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days
  • Beastly

For Netflix Users:

download before a flight
  • Interior Design Masters
  • Reign
  • Falling Inn Love
  • Insatiable
  • To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
  • Gossip Girl
  • The Sinner
  • The Vampire Diaries
  • The Princess Switch
  • Parker
  • The Assassination Of Gianni Versace
  • Gilmore Girls
  • Someone Great
  • Stranger Things

If you’re not a series or movie type of girl, rather download Spotify or Apple Music and pick out some of your favourite playlists throughout the years, and download them so that you can listen to it while on airplane mode.

If all else fails crack open a book or talk to the stranger. Who knows, it might be your ‘Boys and Girls’ moment where you meet the love of your life on a plane. Have a little imagination.
