Six Things About Sex We Didn’t Know

Just when you thought you knew it all. Let me tell you, very few of us do. Here are six things about sex and sexual activities that could help improve or fire up your current situation.

1. Ovulating can be a game changer in bed.

Yes, when a woman ovulates, it changes the chemistry and has a strong effect on both the man and the woman. According to science, men can sense when a woman is ovulating and many men have come forward to speak about this over here. It not only attracts woman more towards manlier men, to most men it makes a woman more desirable.

2. The clitoris is basically a small penis.

Believe it or not, before you are born, the clitoris develops from the same tissue as the penis. Like with a penis that erects when a man is aroused, the clitoris also swells up, causing it to be more sensitive as the blood flows to the tip of the clitoris.

3. Sounds and screams while having sex is known to be an incredibly big turn on to men.

They find it very satisfying hearing that they are pleasuring you in all the right ways. Men seek validation when it comes to sex and want to know that they are good at what they are busy doing.

4. Crying during or after sex has been explained to be 100% normal.

They even got a name for it: Post-coital Dysphoria (PCD). This happens due to the overflow of emotion experienced after an orgasm. This has happened to a lot of us before but is nothing to be embarrassed about. If you are lucky, one or two things will happen: your partner will either cry with you or comfort you. Either way, it’s normal, ladies.

5. Approximately 70% of men will not have sex if their partners are on their period.

Now, this is part of a topic I covered in one of my previous blogs too, but it seems to be a very popular one. Although it is safe and considered fine for a lot of people, there are also religious aspects to this that prevent both women and men to engage in sexual activities during this time. Personally, I feel that this is a time in a woman’s life where her body wants to be left alone and untouched. Different strokes for different folks, however.

6. Women who have sex once a week have better menstrual cycles.

This can be due to many reasons but some of the info found while researching this definitely cleared up a lot for me. It is known that sex reduces stress and stress can sometimes be the reason behind irregular periods too. It is also said that sex calms the body and mind which also helps with irregular cycles.

Well, there we are ladies, every day is a school day, right?
