The Oscars is definitely a highlight on our fashion calendar and this year was no different! The star-studded red carpet came with quite a number of highs and lows and these are our top fashion picks from the night!
Kiki Layne looked absolutely stunning in a slick candy pink number from Atelier Versace. Her flute dress featured a large bow on the shoulder, oozing elegance with just a hint of playfulness. She also went with the gorgeous no make-up look and a simple double braid, leaving the dress to do all the talking.
The Oscar-winning beauty, Lady Gaga wowed in a stunning black Brandon Maxwell dress that was understated, leaving her 128-carat Tiffany diamond necklace (yes, you read that right) as the main showpiece. It was a very modest look considering how she started the 2019 award season, but we loved it nonetheless.
Emma Roberts looked ravishing in a fully beaded Yanina Couture dress. The sheer, form-fitting gown did wonders for the lovely lady who rocked a bold red lip. She paired her outfit with a pair of Christian Louboutin heels and a Jimmy Choo clutch, but it was her elegant Forevermark jewels paired with the gorgeous dress that stood out for us.
Priyanka Chopra glowed in a black Elie Saab gown, escorted by her handsome husband, Nick Jonas. We loved the dress, but we would have loved it even more if it was paired with a statement jewellery piece.
Gemma Chan was literally dripping in beaded tassels from none other than Tom Ford. She looked beautiful in what we have marked as the silhouette of the season. Her drop earrings and red lip complimented the dress perfectly.
Ashley Graham looked sexy and seductive with a hint of old school glamour, showing off her curves in a beautiful Zac Posen dress. The black mermaid gown was paired with a simple necklace and earrings from Martin Katz, which was the diamond cherry on our Oscars cake.
Meagan Good made an appearance on the red carpet rocking short blond hair and an amazing Georges Chakra Couture gown. The pink piece had a few sheer panels and it looked like it was draped on her body only hours before strutting down the carpet.
Madelaine Petsch knew she was going to walk the carpet and she came ready to own it. It is absolutely evident in her choice of dress. The opulent gown from Paolo Sabastian looked incredible on her with a trending red lip and dewy skin. She accessorised with only earrings and a ring and that worked wonders for her.
