1. Drinking water:
You can put ice cubes inside of their drinking water. This will help to keep their water cold and enjoyable. Pets should have access to enough drinking water, this is very important because it helps prevent dehydration.
2. Outdoors:
Help them by providing shaded areas so that they are not completely affected by the direct sunlight.
3. Bedding/towels:
You can provide them with something cool to lie on. You can give them some damp bedding or towels to lie on.
4. Pool/Container:
If your dog is not afraid of the water or can swim. You can place a small paddling pool or a container filled with some water outside for them to play and cool down in.
5. Bottles:
Fill some water bottles with cold water. By doing this it will provide them with something cool to lie next to.
6. Cars:
Try to avoid leaving your pet inside the car for long periods of time, they become stressed and overheat very easily.
7. Food:
You can freeze treats and food for them to enjoy.
8. Grooming:
This is important because it helps to remove any excess hair that may cause extra heat.
