Waking up early in the mornings are already a struggle and a half for many of us. Making breakfast might not be on the top of our to-do list and therefore we tend to grab the quickest option.

Quick and easy does not necessarily guarantee healthy and let us be honest… who does not want a healthy and happy body. Here are a few quick and easy, guaranteed healthy options for all those non-early birds out there – Fresh, Vibrant Smoothies Every Morning

1. Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Fresh, Vibrant Smoothies Every Morning

Ingredients:
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 Fresh Banana, Peeled
1 cup Almond Milk
1 Cup of ice
1 Tablespoon Honey

Method:
Put all your ingredients in a blender. Blend everything until combined.

2. Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:
½ Banana
1 tsp raw cocoa powder
1 tbsp Peanut butter
¾ Almond Milk (or any other milk)
A handful of ice cubes

Method:
Put all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.

3. Avo, Apple and Cinnamon Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup Almond Milk
½ Ripe Avo pitted and peeled
½ green apple, peeled and sliced
½ cup of spinach
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
4-6 ice cubes

Method:
Put all your ingredients into your blender and blend on high speed until nice and smooth.
Serve immediately and enjoy.

4. Get your grip with a Coffee Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 Frozen Banana
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup of coconut water
1 tsp ground Almond
1 shot espresso
Coconut chips/ flakes to garnish

Method:
Pop all ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth.
Sprinkle coconut chips/flakes onto the top of your smoothie and enjoy.

These smoothies will most definitely fill you up and give you a good amount of energy to execute all your morning tasks.

If fresh smoothies are not your thing, your options are actually endless.  Freeze the mixture in an ice tray and use the smoothie cubes as a between-meals health snack, create popsicles for the kids or freeze in a tray to make some delicious homemade sorbet.
