One of my guilty pleasures is perfume, and when it comes to birthdays and Christmas, the family knows that the list of requests will include a few of my favourites.
Often a new kid on the block sneaks in and tantalises my senses, swooping me to an alternate universe. This season it was none other than the new fragrance from Coach, called Coach Dreams.
The fragrance comes in a glass bottle finished off with a silver spray cap shaped like a Tea Rose. A refined leather ring at the base of the cap nods to Coach’s rich history of leather craftsmanship. Finished off with the iconic Horse and Carriage, in silver and pink glitter eye catching box,all that glitters is in fact, glorious in this case.
The scent is crafted by perfumer Antoine Maisondieu. It features a radiant, woody scent that opens with notes of bitter orange and juicy pear while revealing a heart of gardenia and cactus flower, before drying into a sensual Joshua Tree and Ambroxan musk.
Excitedly I opened the box and donned a spritz or two before heading out the door. Half way down the passage, hubby stopped to ask what I was wearing. Heads turned and a few people asked me what the amazing scent was, as it was not yet on the counters and I was lucky to be gifted a bottle before the official release.
Gauging by the reaction, I am in no doubt that once on the shelves it is going to be a favourite in many a lady’s collection.
