Celebs Can Be Introverted, Too
When I say the word ‘celeb’, what jumps to mind? Let us guys, loud, talkative and centre of attention. We say think again. Not all world-famous figures are extroverted “all eyes on me” kind of characters. There are definitely those who like their alone time and prefer to stay on the down-low. Let’s have a look at who we’re talking about here:
Barack Obama
Would you believe us if we told you one of the worlds greatest leaders is one of the biggest introverts? Yes, former U.S president, Barack Obama, prefers spending his time with those closest to him. Of course, he knows how to hold the attention of a massive crowd, but when the show’s over, he prefers his inner circle.
Kirsten Stewart
Twilight start, Kirsten Stewart, has been scrutinized multiple times over the years for being “rude”. She has even bee dubbed as the “anti-celebrity”. Here’s an explanation, the world-famous actress is just plain shy. Sources close to the star has claimed that people simply don’t understand her as a person and therefore misinterpret her as being rude. Miss Stewart allegedly got into acting to learn how to express herself.
Johny Depp
Another shocking celeb you may not have thought to be an introvert is the one and only, Johny Depp. Sure, we’ve noticed he can be a little awkward in some of his interviews, but we wouldn’t have guessed he’s this much of an introvert. Apparently, the star is so introverted that he avoided going to any social events or parties all through his 20’s. He even moved to France to get away from everyone at one point.
Emma Watson
Harry Potter star, Emma Watson, loves her privacy. She avoids large crowds, doesn’t like it when fans invade her personal space and no one even knows what continent she lives on. Emma has shared that she needs her alone time and feels pretty drained if she doesn’t get it.
Zayn Malik
It’s hard to understand that someone who can stand in front of a large crowd and sing his lungs out is an introvert in real life. Yes, ‘pillow talk’ star, Zayn Malik, also loves his alone time. After he split up from the world-famous group ‘One Direction’, he tweeted, “I’m a loner”. It’s understandable that he would want his privacy back after the whole world watched his every move for years.
There you have it. If you ever feel like a loner, just remember, you’re not alone.
