The world needs strong women. Women who will lift & build others, who will love & be loved. Strong Women who live bravely, both tender & fierce. Women of indomitable will.
BLOSS Media is Celebrating this Women’s Month with women all over our beautiful country. To honour them, to show our support and to uplift them.
Our Real Life Editor, Trudi Stander hand-picked a few business-women to celebrate and to honour this Women’s Month.
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world”.
Meet Cherise Horn, entrepreneur and business owner of Krotoa Coffee House in Mossel Bay.
Do you know the story about Krotoa?
The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you’re very courageous: be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble.
Cherise, tell us more about yourself and your business?
I always feel like I say too much & also feel like I need to say a lot more, no one stands alone, no business, no empire, no brand, nothing gets built by one person only, these are my people.
My help… my “dance with me, laugh with me, cry with me” people, my friends & my family when I’m working, they see me at my worst & best and ALWAYS support me at both.
I know some may think differently, but for now, for this season, they are with me & I am SO grateful for these God-fearing & serving people who keep my hands lifted.
Cherise “bosslady” The Owner
Bradley “Brandso” The Barista
Phelo “Phelelelo” The Cook
Leigh ‘Sister” The All-Rounder
I am very verbal about the fact that God has only given me a few talents, I am not a good judge of people (I believe everyone is always good), I don’t know numbers, coffee, pastries or business. I know one thing… P E O P L E!! I LOVE people!!
Krotoa is amazing, this journey, these people, the experience is beyond what words can describe & I am SO grateful.
