Millie Bobby Brown, more commonly known as “Eleven” from Stranger Things, is probably one of the youngest, yet most successful women of our time! She is only 15 years old and is known for her acting and modeling career. Now, she has also created her own line of cosmetics and skincare products.
On the 20th of August 2019, Millie launched her own beauty brand, after waiting and testing it for two years. The brand, Florence by Mills, is named after her great-grandmother. Everything is lilac coloured and couldn’t describe Millie better.
The most popular product is the eye gel pads for teens because teenagers also need treatment to prevent bags. That is not all, it comes in the shape of cute purple whales, since Millie loves whales so much! She created these products to help teens, who want to experiment with skincare and makeup without damaging their skin, to be able to use it at an affordable price. On the website she created a quiz to help determine which products would be best suited for your skin type.
When you buy a product you also donate to the Olivia Hope foundation. One of Millie’s friends passed away from leukaemia and she wants to support the cause by using her beauty products.
A few other benefits also include the fact that it’s phthalate-free, paraben-free, synthetic fragrance-free, sulfate-free and no animal testing or animal by-products were used.
Did I mention that she also has tutorials available on the website and Instagram page that shows you how each product works and should be applied? Florence by Mills also features a virtual try-on where you use Snapchat to see if it’s your shade. How cool is that?
Millie, we hope to see more from you, not only on screen but definitely more of the beauty and skincare range as well! Its not often that celebrities share their skincare secrets with the public, not to mention at such an affordable price as Millie has gone for.
Head to the Florence by Mills website to check out all the fun and quirky products!
Unfortunately, Florence by Mills does not ship to South Africa (yet!), but we sure would love to get our hands on Millie’s products! Wouldn’t you?
