Being in the garden design industry for almost 21 years, Adri has learnt to identify trends. “Pair that with an adventurous client, and you have a winning combination,” says Adri Neuper, pots and pot plants expert and owner of IN EEDEN design concepts.
For this specific project, she used white pots with one matt black pot in the office space which created just the right amount of drama. The plants were chosen according to the light available and to create a certain “look”. The furniture and art in the office engage in a dance with the plants and pots.
A lot is being said about Indoor plants these days. We know it makes you happy. The reasons can get very scientific, backed by many studies. Plants are green. It provides colour. Plants manufacture oxygen and humans need oxygen.
Plants have amazing acoustic abilities. The cellular nature of real plants breaks sound waves and aids in noise management.
Household pot plants have many unknown benefits and it is well worth it to get to know a few of the most important ones:
Adri advises us that as pot plants are living elements it does require care though. A few clever humans have developed a special liner for indoor use. This system allows for an indoor plant to absorb water and nutrients in a more natural way.
The main reason for indoor plant fatalities is overwatering.
The following images illustrate beautiful interiors where interior pots and plants have been used.
Use a neural pot with a high single statement plant to create interest in front of a plain wall.
Hang draping plants above your bed for extra oxygen production and a fresh feeling in your bedroom.
Place pots at different levels in one space to create a sense of movement and interest.
Plants and books work together like fine cheese and wine. Zoo-sh up your bookshelf with some lovely greens to create a calm atmosphere.
