A Night With The Stars

Every year I put on my fashionable best, and head out for the red carpet event of the year.  I pose and pout, and work the red carpet like the star I believe I am, all for a good cause.  A Night With The Stars in aid of HospiceWits has become a staple on my social calendar.  That was until COVID-19.

I was so sad this year when Fashion week didn’t happen.  And even sadder when #NWTS didn’t make its appearance on my calendar.  It is a cause so near and dear to my heart.


HospiceWits provides care, comfort, and support to patients and families that are affected by a life-threatening illness, like cancer, HIV/AIDS, and organ failure. As a registered NPO, they rely on the support of corporates, trusts, and individuals to meet the needs of their patients. Services are provided both at patient’s homes or their in-patient unit in Houghton.


2020 has been one of adaptation for all of us, to say the least. We approached past and new supporters (celebrities, designers, and media personalities) with a completely new concept. The HospiceWits NWTS 2020 will be held as an Instagram activation. Each of these ‘stars’ is encouraged to post stills or moving media to their Instagram pages (and other platforms) therefore “The Lounge Edition” using the official hashtags #HospiceWitsNWTS20 & #LoungeEdition. Driving a message of support through donations to Hospice Wits on the 28th of July, by clicking on this link: https://bit.ly/2VuLyDQ – There will not be LIVE streaming of an event.

Join us on the 28th of July where the supporters of the annual fashion show will go LIVE on their platforms,  between 18h00 – 22h00.  Posting static and moving content, calling on their fans and followers to donate and assist HospicesWits with maximizing the quality of life for people in the last phases of a disease that cannot be cured.
